  1. INSTALLING THE FASTTIMER COMPONENT

  4. Install the files
  5.  
  6.   First copy the following files into the directory where you keep your
  7.   additional (non-Borland) components:
  8.  
  9.     FASTTIME.DCU 
  10.     FASTTIME.DCR 
  11.  
  12.   Then copy the following file to your WINDOWS directory:
  13.  
  14.     FASTTIME.DLL
  15.  
  16.   And put these two in your DELPHI\BIN directory:

  18.     FASTTIME.HLP
  19.     FASTTIME.KWF

  22. Install the help reference

  24.   In your Delphi program group, start the program called HelpInst. Open
  25.   the file DELPHI.HDX (in your DELPHI\BIN directory). From the Keyword
  26.   menu, select "Add Keyword File" and select FASTTIME.KWF. From the
  27.   "File" menu, select "Save". Then exit HelpInst.

  30. Install the component

  32.   Start Delphi and select "Install Components" from the "Options" menu.
  33.   Click the add button, then browse to find your component directory.
  34.   Click on FASTTIME.DCU, then OK, and your library will be rebuilt. The
  35.   FastTimer component will be placed on the palette in the "New"
  36.   section. The installation is now complete.
